Sindh Unveils Free Electric Scooters and Upcoming Pink Taxi Service for Women's Mobility


Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has officially launched the Pink Scooter Scheme under the Sindh Mass Transit Authority. This initiative aims to provide free electric scooters to women across Sindh, with the core objective of empowering working women and students by offering them safer and more independent mobility options.


During the launch, Bilawal also announced plans to introduce a Pink Taxi Service in the near future. Sindh Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon lauded the scheme as "revolutionary," emphasizing its potential to reduce travel costs, save time, and ensure dignity for women on their commutes. The initiative is set to transform daily travel for thousands of women, fostering greater autonomy and accessibility.
