Son of Altaf Ahmed Chitrali Honored as Hafiz-e-Qur’an, Parents to Receive Divine Reward
Muhammad Aryan Altaf, son of Altaf Ahmed Chitrali—the founding chairman of Tehreek-e-Falahi Chitrali and former chairman of Tehreek-e-Tahafuz Chitrali—has successfully completed the memorization of the Holy Qur’an. This is indeed a great blessing and a moment of immense joy. Completing Hifz (memorization of the Qur’an) requires extraordinary dedication, focus, and effort, and Aryan Altaf has been honored with this distinction.
In Islam, a Hafiz-e-Qur’an (one who memorizes the Qur’an) holds a highly esteemed status. According to Hadith, the Qur’an will intercede for the Hafiz on the Day of Judgment, granting them elevated ranks in Paradise. Moreover, the parents of a Hafiz will be honored with a special crown in Jannah, and the Hafiz will be granted the privilege of interceding for ten individuals destined for punishment.
One narration from Hazrat Ali (RA) quotes the Holy Prophet ﷺ:
“Whoever recites the Qur’an, memorizes it, and regards its lawful as lawful and its unlawful as unlawful, Allah will admit him into Paradise and accept his intercession for ten of his relatives who were destined for Hell.” (Musnad Ahmad, Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah, Darimi)
