New Airline to Connect Chitral, DI Khan with National Air Network

Private airline South Air has announced plans to launch regular flights connecting Dera Ismail Khan and Chitral with other parts of Pakistan, aiming to improve air connectivity in remote regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

South Air Expands Operations with KP Routes and Daily Peshawar Flights

During a meeting with KP Governor Faisal Karim Kundi, South Air Chairman Kanwar Muhammad Tariq said the airline intends to operate daily flights to DI Khan and regular services to Chitral. He added that the airline has completed all operational, technical and administrative preparations and will begin nationwide flight operations this month.

The airline also plans to operate routes from Peshawar to Karachi, Lahore and Quetta. Governor Kundi welcomed the initiative, saying improved air connectivity would boost tourism, business and employment opportunities across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, particularly in areas that have long lacked aviation facilities.
