Emirates has officially launched Crypto.com Pay™, enabling eligible customers in the UAE to pay for flight bookings using cryptocurrency through the airline's website and mobile app. The service is available for bookings priced and settled in UAE Dirhams (AED) and follows the partnership announced between Emirates and Crypto.com in July 2025.
The new payment option allows customers to complete transactions securely through the Crypto.com app, with payments processed in compliance with UAE regulations. Emirates said the initiative expands payment choices for digitally savvy travelers, while Crypto.com described the partnership as a major milestone that reflects the UAE's leadership in fintech and digital innovation.
The launch supports the Dubai Cashless Strategy under the D33 Economic Agenda, which aims to make 90% of financial transactions digital by the end of 2026. It also strengthens the UAE's growing digital payments ecosystem, with Crypto.com operating under a Central Bank of the UAE licence and continuing its collaboration with both Emirates and Dubai government entities.
