Chitral Proud as Benazir Rises to Major Rank in Pakistan Army
CHITRAL: Benazir, daughter of Jan Muhammad and a proud daughter of *Koshut*, has been promoted to the rank of *Major in the Pakistan Army* in recognition of her dedicated professional service, hard work, commitment and sense of duty. Her promotion has been warmly welcomed by people of the area, relatives and friends, who have extended their heartfelt congratulations to her and her family.
Benazir has been serving in the *Nursing Department at Military Hospital (MH) Rawalpindi* for several years, where she has carried out her professional responsibilities with dedication, discipline and commitment. She joined the Pakistan Army as a *Second Lieutenant in 2013* and was promoted to the rank of *Captain at CMH Mardan in 2019*. In 2026, she achieved another milestone with her promotion to Major at Military Hospital Rawalpindi.
