Three Saudi nationals were killed in two attacks on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, according to Saudi civil aviation authorities. The attacks also destroyed an aircraft parked at the airport, with two passengers reportedly on board at the time.

In a statement, the authorities said the first attack targeted airport facilities, while the second struck an aircraft. Saudi airline officials also confirmed that a crew member was killed in the incident. Airport operations have since resumed, and air traffic is reportedly back to normal.

Earlier, Yemen’s Houthi movement attempted to target Riyadh and Khamis Mushait again. Saudi-led coalition forces intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile fired towards Riyadh. Falling missile debris damaged a school and a medical complex, but no casualties were reported. In Khamis Mushait, coalition forces also intercepted two ballistic missiles.

The latest incidents follow attacks on Riyadh and Abha airports two days earlier, which reportedly killed three people and injured 28 others, including a Pakistani national.
