The bodies were discovered by the man’s wife on her return from a concert. The cause of the death is not known, but police sources, speaking to Khaleej Times, are treating it as suicide and murder.
The police sources said the man, a Pakistani national, may have killed his daughters, aged six and eight, and then himself at their house near Dubailand. They said the bodies have been sent for post-mortem and the coroner’s report is awaited.
It may have been poisoning or strangulation, according to police sources.
The woman has been admitted to hospital.
