Benazir assassination case: ‘Suspects were Haqqania seminary students’

بینظیرقتل اور کامرہ بیس حملے کے ملزم ہمارے طلبا تھے، ناظم مدرسہ حقانیہ کا اعتراف

راولپنڈی: مدرسہ دارالعلوم حقانیہ اکوڑہ خٹک کے ناظم تعلیمات مولانا وصال احمد نے اعتراف کیا ہے کہ بینظیر بھٹو قتل اور کامرہ بیس پر حملے میں ہمارے مدرسے کے طالب علم ملوث تھے۔

انسداد دہشت گردی کی خصوصی عدالت نے بے نظیر بھٹو قتل کیس میں مدرسہ دارالعلوم حقانیہ اکوڑہ خٹک کے ناظم تعلیمات مولانا وصال احمدکا بیان ریکارڈکر لیا۔ مولانا وصال احمد نے تسلیم کیا کہ بے نظیر بھٹوکے قتل کیس میں نامزد 4 ملزمان خودکش بمبار عبداللہ عرف صدام، دوسرا خودکش بمبار نادر عرف قاری اسماعیل، رشید احمد عرف ترابی، فیض محمد کسکٹ اور کامرہ میں ایئرفورس کی بیس پر میزائل حملے کے ملزمان سید عرب، گل روز، محمد شفیق ان کے مدرسہ کے طلبہ تھے تاہم ان کے کردار اور فعل کا ہم سے کوئی تعلق نہیں۔

دوسری جانب گرفتار ملزم رشیدعرف ترابی نے کہا کہ وہ مدرسہ حقانیہ کا طالب علم نہیں تھا جب کہ مولانا وصال احمد نے جواب دیا کہ جھوٹ بولنے کی کوئی ضرورت نہیں، یہ ملزم مدرسے کا طالب علم تھا جب کہ  انہوں نے ملزم کا مکمل ریکارڈ بھی پیش کر دیا۔ سینئر سرکاری پراسیکیوٹر چوہدری محمد اظہر نے بتایا کہ وہ اس کیس کی تیزی کے ساتھ سماعت مکمل کرا رہے ہیں اور مقدمہ مارچ میں مکمل ہونے کا امکان ظاہرکیا جارہا ہے۔  ایکسپریس نیوز

RAWALPINDI: An Anti-Terrorism court (ATC) on Thursday recorded the statement of another witness in former prime minister Benazir Bhutto’s murder case.

ATC-I Special Judge Pervez Ismail Joya recorded the statement of Maulana Wisal Ahmad of Darul Uloom Haqqania, Akora Khattak. Ahmad said that suspected suicide bombers, identified by the authorities as Abdullah alias Saddam, Nadir alias Qari Ismail, Rasheed Ahmad alias Turabi and Faiz Muhammad were students of the seminary.

He said the suspects arrested in the attack on a bus carrying Pakistan Air Force employees were also students of the seminary. Ahmad explained whatever the suspects did was their personal action and the seminary was not involved.

Turabi argued they had never been students of the seminary, refuting Ahmad’s claim. However, Ahmad produced records containing their registration and roll numbers. The record was made part of the case and cross examination of the witness was also completed. The judge then issued notices to five other witnesses and adjourned the case till March 2.
