To ensure inclusivity, the digital system will work offline and cover remote areas through partnerships with mobile wallet providers. A database of all commercial entities is also being compiled for integration into the cashless framework. The Chief Minister, Ali Amin Gandapur, has emphasized strict compliance and directed the Chief Secretary's Office to oversee its execution, underlining the goal of eradicating fraud and promoting transparency.
The plan also includes public awareness drives, training sessions, and assistance to ease the transition for businesses and citizens. QR codes will be mandatory for payment at all commercial points, supported by a robust regulatory framework. Gandapur stated that the system will not only improve financial transparency and economic efficiency but also boost tax collection, attract investment, and bring KP in line with global digital standards.
