Pakistan’s IT Exports Hit Record $3.8 Billion in FY2025
Pakistan's Information Technology (IT) exports have reached an unprecedented high, hitting a record $3.8 billion by the end of fiscal year 2025.
This remarkable achievement represents an 18 percent increase in IT, IT-enabled services (ITES), and freelancer exports, significantly bolstering Pakistan's global economic identity.
The surge is attributed to the combined efforts of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) and the Ministry of IT. A comprehensive strategy spearheaded by the IT Ministry, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, has also played a crucial role in this substantial growth.
Revolutionary progress within the IT sector has been driven by key initiatives including the promotion of a digital economy, widespread fast internet access, and the facilitation of digital payments.
These strategic advancements have positioned Pakistan firmly on track to achieve its ambitious target of $15 billion in IT exports by 2030.
