Travel Advisory Issued as Snowfall Blocks Routes in Chitral
Chitral has witnessed the first heavy snowfall of the winter season, covering the land, mountains, and trees in thick white sheets. In some areas, snowfall has reached up to one and a half feet, while in others it is about one foot deep. The snowfall continued throughout the night of January 23, leaving the entire region blanketed in snow by morning.
Several routes have been partially blocked, and authorities have advised residents to avoid unnecessary travel unless absolutely essential.
