Joint Maritime Crackdown Nets Massive Contraband Haul Off Pakistan Coast
Security forces in Pakistan seized drugs and liquor valued at more than Rs20 billion during a joint intelligence-based operation in the Arabian Sea.
The operation was conducted by the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency in collaboration with the Pakistan Navy, the Joint Maritime Information Coordination Centre, and the Anti-Narcotics Force (Sindh).
Officials stated that the successful interception reflects strong inter-agency coordination and underscores authorities’ determination to combat smuggling networks and narcotics trafficking in regional waters.
