Two Brothers from Chitral Promoted to Lieutenant Colonel in Pakistan Army

Pride for Upper Chitral as Real Brothers Rise to Lieutenant Colonel Rank



Two real brothers from Chitral have been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Pakistan Army. Major Ahsan Ghazi and Major Saad Ghazi have recently been elevated to the new rank, marking a proud moment for their family and the region.


Both officers belong to the Ghoro area of the Mastuj Valley in Upper Chitral and are sons of renowned social figure Syed Ghazi Shah. Their family has a strong tradition of serving the country, with several members already serving in the Pakistan Army. Their maternal uncle, Lieutenant Colonel Sultan Ali Khan, along with their brother Captain Razaullah Ghazi, brother-in-law Captain Faheem Saleh, and Lieutenant Muzammil, are all actively serving officers.


Throughout their military careers, Lieutenant Colonel Ahsan Ghazi and Lieutenant Colonel Saad Ghazi have held key assignments and demonstrated outstanding professional competence. Their promotions are being widely celebrated and regarded as a source of pride for Chitral, particularly Upper Chitral.
