Prosser then reportedly used this footage to showcase unreleased iOS 26 features in his own videos.

Apple uncovered the alleged breach through an anonymous tip and a voice memo from Ramacciotti, who reportedly admitted his involvement and implicated Prosser. The Apple engineer involved was subsequently fired for failing to secure sensitive data. Prosser, however, denies the allegations, stating he was not involved in accessing the device. Apple is seeking damages and a court order to prevent any future leaks.
