A man who announced to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf after resigning from the Punjab police force of Faislabad turned out to be an impostor.The truth about the fake police inspector who had joined PTI was revealed by Daily Dunya Newspaper.
The man who identified himself as Yasir Javed had joined the PTI sit-in on Tuesday and was warmly welcomed by the protestors. The officials of the Punjab police force had begun investigating about the policeman to verify his identity soon after his announcement to join PTI.
According to Faislabad police, Javed had mentioned badge number 861 on his resignation- a number which has not been given to any inspector. The Faislabad police further added that no new police officer was allotted in the region. Dunya News
